KATY DRUCKER PHOTOGRAPHY

A creative soul since birth, Katy has loved and worked in many realms of the artistic world.  With her degree in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, she remains thankful to her first passion, travel, for opening her eyes to this special medium over a decade ago.       

Katy's favorite aspect of photography is its ability to capture a specific moment, and bring one's mind back to that moment in a way traditional memories sometimes can not.  As an incredibly visual person, she is fueled by the notion that what she experiences with her senses may be able to be preserved in a physical form.  Each image exists as an unchangeable blueprint of that piece of time and place, and that is why she loves it.  Katy strives to accurately capture the essence of that moment and stay true to what her soul reacted to in the first place.  Looking at her images takes her back to the time she took the photograph and reliving those often poignant memories is her most cherished part.

Exploring other cultures and ways of life has been woven into Katy's soul.  She thrives off new experiences and interactions with others.  She approaches life  with an open hearted spirit  that has led her to more than 70 countries on personal and professional pursuits.  A lover of the outdoors, photography enables Katy to work amongst her biggest source of inspiration, Mother Nature.  Katy strives for balance and to live life with intention, to help others, spend time with her loved ones, and to be happy.
